Paris Hilton faces up to six years in Prison
Paris Hilton could face up to six years in prison if found guilty of her latest incident where she apparently was is possession of cocaine. Her lawyer said that people should not make judgement on her until all the facts are known.
US socialite Paris Hilton was arrested in Las Vegas while in a car with her boyfriend Cy Waits on Friday night. Police officers stopped the car because they had seen smoke coming from it, on searching the car they said that they had found a controlled substance in a handbag.
Paris was charged and released, however, if she is found guilty she could be looking at a long prison sentence.
This is the third time in 3 months that Paris has been questioned about possessing drugs by the police.
First there was an incident at the world cup in July where apparently marijuana was found in her handbag, the case was dropped.
The second incident happened when she was questioned at a airport in Corsica, again she was said to have in her possession a small amount of marijuana, she was let go without being charged.
Ms Hilton , who is the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton Hotels, now faces this third incident, that if charged could lead to the prison sentence.
